Description

When I saw the main free stockphoto by Tracie76stock from DA used to create this piece, I immediately tought to a faerie playing magically with some water.
It took me about 40 hours of work to create it. At the moment I'm quite pleased with it. Please give me suggestions on how to inprove it.

The skin-tones on her body doesn't quite match the background, I think it might help if you add green and darker shadow on the figure. The hair looks too stiff imo, it needs to be soften up a bit. The grass where she sits on needs to be darker (she's casting the shadow onto the ground where she sits,esp the area under her legs). Overall I think this is a nice concept and I appreciate all the time you put into it. Hope my 2 cents helps, nice work

Improvement suggestions: You should try to get a more unique look for figure and background, which also means to include the figure better into the background.
So a painted looking figure rarely fits into a photographic background.
There you'd have the choice to give the bg a more painterly fealing or to make the figure more realistic.
